Halloween Party

Every Year I throw a Neighborhood Halloween Party for the Neighborhood Action Group or N.A.G. in our Ward. With so many people moving in and out and our ward being Mainly our Neighbourhood, they put together these groups. Our neighborhood is a bunch of circles so they sectioned off the groups and put leaders in charge to get to know our ward family and neighbors! So for the past 3 years I have organized different activities such as Easter Egg hunts, water days, Christmas Caroling, Movies Under the Stars and the above mentioned Halloween party!

This year we had Alot of new neighbors move in and almost all of them were here for the party! **23** kids were here and Jesse got called into work so he missed everything! The kids get to Jump on our bouncer, eat yummy "gross" food, jello brains, worms on a bun etc.. and we do a craft.(this is why parents are welcomed & and asked to come!!) I take pictures of the families and the kids make picture frames to take home When I get the pictures downloaded and or taken I will post them! We didn't get our Family picture taken! As soon as Jesse got dressed he had to change to go to work!

Our Halloween Last Year

Some people have asked for me to post pictures of our previous Halloween costumes; so here is last years. I need to find the other years. Jesse was Buzz Light year, I was Jessie the Cow Girl and Jake was Sheriff Woody riding on Bullseye! All the Characters are from The Disney Pixars Toy Story. Also here is some of Our AWESOME pumpkins we have carved!! We have So much fun doing this! Enjoy, let me know what you think A!

MUSIC VIDEOS???

Music videos??I stoped watching them SO LONG ago; Seriously I haven't seen a music video Since "Smells like Teen Spirit"!! But EAARLY this morning Jake woke up (bed accident: haven't been able to get that fixed!) and he got in our bed and I turned on the TV and a cute new artist was on and I really liked the video!! It's Katy Perry Hot N Cold on my play list! The song is cute too, It has a catchy beat, Jake was dancing to it! And the AMAZING little girls that hula hoop SOOO fast! I LOVE her look, ALL the 80's stuff she wears, and the 80's bands she looks too and has in her videos. Now for her other things and songs well..um..She's young? She'll go back to her roots, we all do don't we? Just a random thing I've been thinking about all day.

Too Much Too Fast!

OK too much has gone on since our last post and too much is coming up to keep updated on! Yesh! This time of year goes by WAY too fast!! you spend all year waiting for October to start celebrating the holidays and they FLY BY! Well I'll start backward and work my way forward! So we went to Flagstaff, we had SO much fun! I love my Brother and his family to death but I think next time we share a hotel with them, meaning my bro will be when we have a door to shut between us! But missing a night of sleep was worth the fun! when we drove up there it was raining hard! And it was COLD! 52 degrees was the high! Now I have been called a wimp but my Brother who NEVER gets cold, is a postman and delivers mail in shorts ALL year long, NEVER wears pants, was cold!! I was bummed about the rain cause everything that I had planned for us to do consisted of out walking downtown! but pushing strollers and holding umbrellas..how do people do that?? But after we ate and unloaded the cars it stopped and the Sun came out! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! all the rainbows and glisten on the shops! so we hopped in the car and parked to go and find treasure! BUT 1st stop was to scare the pants of as many people I could with a tour at the world famous Hotel Monte Vista! lets just say a weird sensation at "Freddie Kruger's" room and a sneak down to the basement had us ALL on edge but the best treat was my cute sister in law who almost peed her pants, was DYING to get out of there! She was so happy they were booked because that was the hotel I tried getting a room at. WE found all kinds of stores, ski, hippy, kids toys the COOL old fashioned kind, and my FAVORITE a used book store! Now i would've stayed in there for hours the whole night actually, lock my in! but my other family was getting impatient! my sweet husband knew what we were getting into when we found it and was totally OK with my time taking it was comforting. We ate Yummy Mexican food and then the fun began back at the motel! I guess it WAS MY fault I wanted the Mexican food!! it was crazy manness going on! There was 4 adults and 3 kids and out of that only 2 girls but even Kim was overtaken by the Mexican food. I was SOO uncomfortable and didn't know such loudness could be made with one's body it literally woke me and others including the perpetrator!!Then came the SNORING!! Jake came into our tiny queen sized bed cause of all the craziness with body nosies and baby crying and all. HE stayed up ALL night asking me every 30 min or so if it was time to get up. We eventually "woke" up and started to get dressed and all proceeded to laugh at everything and everyone and talk about what they heard, no one had mention the gas coming out of uncle will and Jake said " ya and I heard someone gassing SO big all night too"!!( the F word is NOT aloud in my house so we say Gas) That got us all rolling! we hurried and dressed to continue our trip to Page another 2 hour drive to meet my Mom and Grandma! we had a Beautiful day to play in the park and have a picnic. my Mom was in heaven getting to play with ALL her grand kids at the same time! She was Pushing Jake High on the swings and he yelled out"this is the best vacation ever!!!" We all had so much fun! It was so sad to leave and go home. We miss Grandma and GIGI!! I'll post pictures later!
