From a friend of mine: CHRISTMAS in November. My sister-in-law, Cindy has a friend whose 5 year old son, Noah, is in his last stage of a 2 1/2 yr battle with Neuroblastoma cancer. The family is celebrating Christmas next week and Noah's wish is to get LOTS of Christmas cards. I can't believe this! My little guy is 5 and can't wait to "unload" his wish list to Santa! That is so touching! I can't wait to sit down with Jake and make a card for that little boy!

Long Time NO Blog!

Well I feel like I have fallen off the Blog Bandwagon! But I am slowly trying to get back on! We have some New News.. We are OFFICIALLY having a Baby GIRL!!!!!!!!!! CRAZY HUH?!?!?! We are VERY Excited! No we don't have any names picked out but Jake has been helping and coming up with some VERY cute names! Of course he does say Batman, Spiderman ya know but it has been WAAAYYY Easier making a list of girl names than boys! We only had a total of 5 names on our boy list with Jake! And when we do pick our names we don't tell anyone, SORRY. So it's just here is our baby... fill in the blank! Jesse feels like you can't name them till you see them, so we pick 2 names we take to the Hospital and then decide. But for now it's still list mode!
We had a good Halloween! Jesse was off work which was GREAT cause last year he missed it! Jake was a Vampire! My little Edward!! He picked it last year and NEVER changed his mind! We have enough costumes to start a small store and that's what he picked, and whenever anyone asked him he always said Vampire! Jes and I dressed up like Pirates.
Things have been crazy and hectic! Jake tells everyone that his "My Mommy is fat cause she's pregnant! And she throws up ALL the time!" it's pretty funny. But I HAVE been throwing up A LOT!! I swear cause of my endometrosis and PCOS being pregnant is the only way I can lose weight! I'm down 20 lbs! I am 22 weeks, that's like almost one pound lost a week! I go in to the DR's in 2 weeks and they said they HAVE to see increase.. I'm trying.
Jesse got "promoted" Well in the only way WE could get promoted. He should be making more money, different hours, recognition and out of his old position! BUUUUTTT what WE got was He is working 2 Jobs! SAME Pay, same everything except working 2 jobs in 2 different departments! AWW Ain't life GRAND!!!!!!!!! This ALWAYS happens to him! the Boss's find out he knows so much and cashes in on it, Spanish, computers, accounting, whatever he can do they ask him to do it, but do they pay him more, show him respect?? I DON"T THINK SO! They just take advantage of him all the time! When my mom left her job here in AZ they had to hire 3 people to replace her and all that she did!! But she wasn't paid for everything she did! Not fair.
We hope everyone is doing ok! We are looking forward to the Holidays and NO matter what I love my family and they are what keep me going! My Husband and my sweetest son are my life! My boys and a sweet baby girl coming to complete our family is what I am thankful for this Year and every year! Happy Holidays!

If you can't laugh.... you'll proabably just cry

SO being pregnant is wonderful but hard and scary and gross but the reward is Amazing! And you know what they say laughter is the best medicine. On Babycenter.com which is a GREAT website for all stages of kids lives and a great source of info! They have a link for "What I wish I would've known.. pregnancy, birth and after" and It was so funny. I TOTALLY remembered the 1st time around and ALL the things No one EVER told me! Babies stay scrunched for a long time. And when you only have 1 child You can't POSSIBLE know ANYTHING, like when my child had acid reflux or an allergic reaction-same response was told to me over and over--"this your 1st child isn't it?" I am a well educated woman with an amazing 6th sense but seeing how I ONLY had 1 child I was brushed off. But along with no one trusting me and a scrunched baby there were a ton of things no one ever told me, like these confessions "How bad the forgetfulness and mental dullness would be. Stupidity has been my worst symptom!" — Cary"

It's SO bad trying to have a conversation is HARD work! He's NEVER seen me struggle like this... it's SO bad it's like you can see the wheels churning when we're talking. The other one is all about the embarrassment of your bodily functions and the lack of control! so far so good this time around. The other comment that made me laugh was this one..."To have a bag packed about two months ahead of time. I went in early and my husband ran home to get some stuff for me. He brought me thong underwear!" — Devan**What a typical guy!! i loved it!! Just imagining those HUGE diapers they give you after labor and thong underwear just makes me laugh out loud! TOO FUNNY!!

SHOCKING!!

We have some VERY shocking news! March 13, 2010 we will add a new bundle of joy to our family!! Jake will FINALLY be a big brother! He is SO SUPER excited! We didn't think we'd be able to have another baby and were looking into adoption and we found out we were pregnant! We are so happy and shocked!

Funny email I had to post!!!

The other day I went downtown to run a few errands. I went into the local circle K for a snack. It was a payday bar and a diet coke in a plastic bottle-not in a can. I was only there for about 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 minutes. When I came out, there was this cop writing out a parking ticket.

You know me and parking tickets. I said to him, 'Come on, man, how about giving a retired stroke victim a break'? He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. His insensitivity annoyed me, so I called him a 'PIG.' He glared at me and then wrote out another ticket for having worn tires. So I proceeded to call him a 'doughnut eating NAZI.' He finished the second ticket and put it on the windshield with the first. Then he wrote a third ticket when I called him a 'moron in blue'. This went on for about 10,11,12, maybe 13 minutes. The more I talked back to him the more tickets he wrote. Personally, I didn't really care.
I came downtown on the city bus, and the car that he was putting the tickets on, had one of those bumper stickers that said, 'Obama '08.' I try to have a little fun each day now that I'm disabled with the stroke. The doctor tells me that it's important for my health.

Going Private

Unfortunately this is going to be a big pain and everything but we are going to go private. if you wish to still be updated on what's going on please let me know and give me your email address and I will contact you with all the info! Sorry if this is going to cause any problems but this being open to other people are causing MAJOR problems for me and my family! Which is REALLY sad. if they spent a 1/4 of the time they spend causing problems and spent it getting to know us and what we've been going through these past 4 years maybe they wouldn't do and say the things they do... once again this won't happen right away but i really appreciate it. Thank you to those who support me and my family!

blog stalkers

Well I don't blog as much as I would like to, and I never really go on other's either. But as we all know most of have "Blog stalkers"! Now OUR main reason of having a blog is 1st!!! for us, a type of journal, since I failed miserably in the scrap booking department, then 2nd for others to know what's going on in our lives. But THROUGH MANY channels I have "heard" that some blog stalking has been going and have had some VERY negative things to say about me and my family and our choices so here is to clear a few things up. We are broke, we have no money, haven't had money ever really. Even growing up I grew up VERY poor. I learned how to bargain shop since I was Jake's age. When I went to the grocery store with my mom, she not only told me to look for the cheapest item but how to check ounces, and price, use coupons, add match ETC.. As I have ALWAYS done, I STILL and will continue doing so! I have not only been trying to teach my son but my Husband as well! That has been my biggest challenge! As for fun things to do with my family I use the same concept.. Take for instance the "HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE" 1st of all it was FREE!!! if you read it right you would notice it went up 25 ft! I EVEN talked about how I would like to go on a REAL ride but it's too expensive. Once again this is for ME and MY immediate family but since this stupid blog is causing us so much heart ache, i'm thinking of going private! NOT only was it a FREE event but I was there with Jesse WORKING the event!! MY OB's office threw a party to celebrate opening up a NEW office, they asked if people could come to this event and take pictures like Paparazzi and they would pay us, Jesse and I both took separate cameras, Jake and our friends daughter who has sat for Jake- By the way if you MUST know how we paid her when we went out I cut her hair in EXCHANGE! came too to play and do the other fun stuff that was FREE!! we DID NOT even pay AMBER. Her getting to come and do all the fun stuff was her payment. The Dr's had bouncers, food, music and a hot air balloon ride FOR FREE!!! Not that it's any one's business but there you go for all the FREE world to know, we don't spend money, we have 1 car, if we ever go anywhere it's to families that live out of town, and not that's it's ANYONE"S business but they help us out with gas money. In Return I do their Hair, Jesse helps with computers or taxes. We try to give back! We would NEVER just sit back and take something from somebody. I don't expect things from people! If ANYONE EVER helps us out along the way I am grateful, and I do what I can. Also Another VERY important lesson that I try to teach my family and I practice is not JUDGING. The Church is ALWAYS telling us to NEVER judge one another! You NEVER know what is going on behind closed doors! the scripture comes to mind. "Judge not less ye may be Judged"Maybe ask instead of judging and talking behind people's backs.

super random!!

SOOO Random
So most know jes has a weird schedule but it works and he's super great at what he does! He was called in this morning to cover his boss's shift which isn't new he ALWAYS gets called in! so yes my hubby has been at work since 9am and won't get off till midnight! he just texted me and told me he has a meeting on Mon at 11:30pm..that way they only have to do 1 meeting and it works for the guy that is blind too**which to me is JUST amazing him doing what he does with no sight** But I am SUPER thankful he is employed. we have been married for 7 years and I HONESTLY can't think how many jobs he's had since then! I'd have to REALLY think about it! I mean when I was pregnant with JJ he had 3 jobs! so if that gives you an idea.. Anyway after Jake goes to bed I usually stroll the Internet, read, watch t.v., I am USUALLY SO tired but today.. a little more energy! Maybe it's the new med's for my PCOS or insulin prob or endometrosis?.?.? WAIT it's all the exercise I do EVERYDAY and YET I Still loose NO WEIGHT**not bitter or anything!** NAH it was probably the caffeine tablet I took!
ANYWAYS**i had to tell about this show called the Exterminators or something. it's about a Southern family that runs a pest control company, but down South in Louisiana that's a WHOLE different life. people call him to get bats, crocs, snakes possums etc out of their house!! My step family is from Louisiana and I SWEAR you need a pass port to go down there! but anyways there is 2 brothers and one is married the other not-- mullet enough said--but he could be transformed..buisness upfront party in the back! there IS potential. well on this episode the meddling mother takes out an ad in the local newspaper for a date with his son!! the girls come and get interviewed by Mom Dad and bro, they take a picture and "resume" and narrow it down and the son picked which one he wanted SO this is so so weird right, well the step up is one of the girls that came was PREGNANT!! not like a little pregers no like anyday now she'll be having it pregnant!! I couldn't believe it! Yes you need to date too but WOW!! AND the family picked her! they narrowed it down to 5 girls and she was one of them!! the son who had the final say picked someone else, but he thought the pregnant chick was odd! and the date was a bust so he's still single. and the date is a haidresser so like me was having a FIELD DAY with his hair!! what a crazy world down there!

Slumber Party! and Mom GUSH!!

We all stayed up late having a "slumber party" we made a big bed down stairs, ate junk food, played Disney DVD pictionary, and watched Open Season 2*cute movie!* while we ate X-men was on TV and Jake is IN LOVE w/ wolverine so I made him a glove with his own swords coming out, and it was so cute cause he asked me to do his hair like wolverine! after it was done he was UBER excited! I was running around saying I'm wolverine and now I have his hair too!! when it was time to lie down and watch the movie he didn't want to in case it messed up his hair! i showed him it could be re fixed so all night Jes and I would look over and we'd see Jake Fluffing his hair!! even when he went to bed he was worried about his hair because he wanted to show it to his friends I babysit! it was fun he's so cute, my best friend and I love him to death!! even all his quirkiness! I wanted to write about his personality, such as ALL of his bedtime rituals they are to be done EVERY NIGHT and if we "forget" he OH SO reminds us jammies, talk about dreams, Vick's chest rub, stories, prayers, night light multiple ones! HE can remember things crazy memory skills songs, movie lines, story, or anything else you think is important. and he is detail orientated, like make sure i have this hair down in the front like wolverine! and he quotes movie lines just like your mommy and daddy!! and not just says it like has GREAT delivery!! And I like how you refer to aunt Karen's and Uncle Stan's house in Las Vegas Karen's World! and that you KNOW you are spoiled and who spoils you! You Love to travel, stay in hotels, visit family! 10-11 hours in the car NO problem lets go, do it now he'd say! one day Jesse and I talked about going w/ him on his 2nd job processing serving and it would mean ALL day in the car and Jes was worried about that, while we were talking weighing the pro's and con's of a 4 yr old and me in the car for 6-9 hrs Jake had gone packed a bag with toys, snacks, grabbed his pillow and the dog Bolt, changed into his jammies, got his dvd player and movies and came into our room and announced he was ready! all in like 5 min! he LOVES tv and movies! the idea of watching a movie, one time i told him I loved movies because you get to go on an adventure so he'll turn to me and say we're going to treasure planet or oh boy were going to the jungle! Jake also LOVES to get up and talk and sing in front of people! he wasn't feeling up to going to church the other day I tried to tell him all the great pluses, his friends, teachers, my game, nothing but then I remembered he had to say the pray**THE MICROPHONE??? Got dressed Immediately! LOVES IT. Jake and I are Jammie freaks! we live in them, you are either naked, in jammies, or a costume! and you don't like shorts you like long pants! You are sweet, the rule master, you LOVE your family, sweet and fun with mom, tough and gross with Dad! Amazing

Red carpet, carnival food and a hot air balloon ride!

That sums up my evening tonight with my family!! I will upload pictures and tell more about it but I had to put a quick post. the small ride up to about 25ft in the air balloon was still great! it was supposed to go 50-100 ft in the air but with the wind and ALL the people it was much shorter! But I STILL had fun and it confirmed that I Could endure a "real" ride! and now I want to do it more than ever!!! it's about 160$ PER person! Yikes!! Also I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many pictures in my memory card, I am telling you all this so that I will have Moe of a reason to do so!! There are about 500 unloaded, edited pics!! And I have QUITE a few pic's of of all of your kids pic's alone and with Jake! so now I HAVE to get this done!! Pressure!!! Its on like Donkey Kong!!

Easter Egg Hunt

We had an AMAZING day yesterday! Thank you all for coming! Yesterday we held our Annual Easter egg hunt I stuffed over 700 eggs but it was SOOOOOO worth it! I invited all of my family that lives here, Jake's Cousin Ethan and Devyn came and they had a blast! Jesse's parents had to work and Jake's Aunt Shea was accepted into BYU Idaho so she was busy packing. And then all of our Ward and neighbors came, some that have been doing this with us for Years and then some that were new to this fun adventure! And a lot of people invited their neighbors too! so it was crazy fun! since it was our Church conference weekend we did it a little later in the day, thank goodness for the GREAT weather! so we had a potluck too! I love our Neighborhood!!! Someone is ALWAYS out side, riding bikes, exercising, walking their dogs or whatever!! So when a few volunteers came with me to hide the eggs there was some kids out and of course willing to help! it was great! we meet at a park that is across the street from a greenbelt and a volleyball court! so we meet at the park and hang out for a bit while we wait for everyone to arrive and then we go across the street, little kids are in the sand and the others are in the greenbelt! I had 3 and under on the volley ball court and the eggs just covered the sand, totally in plain view!! and the older kids we hid some a little harder make it more fun, But Jake went to the volleyball court!! He's NO dummy! I tried to talk him into going and "searching" for the eggs and how much more fun it'd be to hunt for them and he said 'but there all just right here?!?!!" he knew it was WAY easier and he'd get more there! I even took him over to the bushes to show him to look and find the hidden ones; he gave up REALL quick telling me he wanted to go get all the other ones! But we shared with a couple of people since he got so many! with all the eggs everyone got a great amount but a few got kinda jipped, so as part of the host's he shared! and its hectic crazy fun that's over VERY quickly! I will post some Pictures ASAP!! I am having technical difficulties right now. If you have any pictures you'd like to pass on' that's great! My wonderful hubby is photo challenged! he brought the camera like I asked him to- Kudos for remembering! he stayed home with the little boys while we hid the eggs and about 20 min into our party and as we were walking across the street to find the eggs; I ask him how many pictures has he taken, NONE was his reply!! He hadn't even turned it ON!! he tells me he didn't know he was supposed to.. it was around his neck the WHOLE time!! Later on that night we went BACK to the Park! As if we hadn't filled our fun quota for the day, every year on Saturday night while the Dad's are at the Priesthood Session ,the Mom's gather at the park, someone makes a Little Caesars Pizza run and the kids eat pizza and play! By the time Jake and I rode home we were SO tired! we quickly went to bed and slept till 9 am the next morning!!Thank you for coming, thank you for supporting me and my family! we don't have a lot of family here and Ethan and Devyn : Jake's cousin's live kind of far so it makes it to where we only get together about once a month! and the Bowlers LOVE parties! Jake is SO much like me it's scary! Next up- Drive Way Movie Night! Come watch BOLT under the stars!!! Be there or Be Square!!

need to complain!!

OK so 1st off I have the WORST headache known to me in a very long time and it WILL not go away!! now it's making me sick to my stomach! 2ND Jake is scooping mustard and eating it straight! he asked me where the sticks were from his corn dogs he ate for lunch! so ikea knife and a bottle of mustard and I could care less! He is quiet!!!! Aw crap! Can I kill the stupid neighbors dog's? I HATE how close we are luckily the frat house next to use are moving in a couple of weeks! but the other neighbors got a scrappy, yuppie, Paris Hilton stuff in your purse and carry dog poop around kind of dog! and 3rd, I haven't blogged in a long while or read other peoples blogs in a while , I kind of dropped out for a while! With me babysitting, & getting some more bad news health wise and Jesse's Schedule It's been very difficult! Like being a single Mom sometimes, but I am grateful!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He has a job but I guess I took a break, Plus I HATE telling anybody "oh yeah more bad stuff's happening at the Bowler's!" That's NOT what I want to talk about at all!! So not knowing what's going on around or what's new, i talked with some friends and told me what's been going on with them and just catching up...I just want to say WOW and maybe our next book club book should be Frenemies.

I know it's been forever and a day since I posted... Kind of fell of the bandwagon but I HAD to post to tell whoever's listening about what just happened!! So the other night Jesse was coming home from work to get some clothes to go BACK to work, he's been working SO much BUT I AM THANKFUL!!! trust me!! I am so grateful I put up with it! but it was around midnight on Friday night and he had a blow out on the freeway on our only car, it could have been So much worse! he's lucky he didn't flip or anything but to make matters worse it was on the side of the Freeway and there was no way to move and he had to get out and change it by the busy side with cars rushing by!!Then he couldn't get it jacked up high enough to get the spare under. so he called his Dad in for help but his Dad couldn't get to him cause of where and how dangerous it was! luckily a DPS officer comes and helps him but the spare tire is WAAAY low!! So it was a nightmare non the less. Yesterday was Fast Sunday at church literally as we were walking out Jes got called into work! But I went and ended up bearing my testimony talking about my new calling the Primary Chorister. Today Jesse had the day off so while I was babysitting ( I have been watching 2 great kids 2x a week for extra income) he took the car to get the new tire. Well when we bought the car we opted for the tire insurance because the car's tires are REALLY expensive!! $230.00!! for ONE tire! WE looked it up online so we DEFIANTLY needed the insurance! A few months ago we had 2 bad tires and they gave us THE HARDEST time EVER!! We were told to go to the dealer, so we did then we had to wait 24-48 hrs while they sent out an agent to "look" at it, then they said the dealer was too expensive so they wouldn't pay unless we went to Discount Tire their price is 180. well we went today and they are refusing to pay for this tire!! saying there isn't "Road" damage! whatever.. so Jesse and the discount guy were fighting with the agent ---NO go! Well a guy over heard Jesse explaining to the agent that this is our only car and he is our sole source of income! and that the only option was to leave the car for 24-48 hours but they weren't going to give us a rental and the agent said they won't find "road" damage so it wasn't going to help. The guy came over and asked what was going on and asked Jes if he was married and if he had kids Jesse said yes and it's our only car so this stranger took him inside and paid for our tire!! Jesse called me amazed and shocked and didn't know what to say! What do you say to someone who is a stranger and basically gives you 200$?!?! I mean he said Thank you a million times but that doesn't seem to cut it! he called me and told me he doesn't even know his name. I started sobbing and immediately thanked my Heavenly Father and the 1st thing that popped into my head was Tithing!! I paid my tithing and fast offering yesterday!! I have such a huge testimony for tithing and this is just another example!!! I told Jes to go back in there and thank him for me. The man said not to worry about it; he's a Fireman and does landscaping on the side Jes said he wasn't LDS cause he was swearing like a sailor :) but he just felt a duty to help people out especially in this Economy! And he just asked Jesse to do something in return to someone else if and when he gets the chance! You Bet we will, Pay it Forward!! I know this was a LONG post but I had tell you what this Kindest stranger did for us!! What an amazing person, We know it doesn't matter if he's LDS or not but it was REALLY nice that he did this!!!!!!!!!! I mean we are told tojelp anyone and everyone anytime we cam ALL the time!! so It was So nice that people care! I know i could writ about this ALL night long but I am going to end it on this note, PAY IT FORWARD! Thank you kind stranger you have NO idea what this means to my family and me !!

GOing to Vegas Baby!!

Hey Everyone! I haven't been blogging 4- Ever it seems! I kinda got hooked on my space! But yes it's true I SHOULD be cleaning and packing for Vegas but ummm.. I felt it was my duty to blog!@ People may be sad since it's been so long since I have written anything!! Anyways in keeping with procrastinating I need to clean BADLY!! It's usually a Rule that I clean before we go on vacation because its such a kill joy when you get home and find everything a mess!! but I think that's what's going to happen!! I'll just have to get over it huh? Well some of you know I half grew up in Las Vegas and My Dad's Sister still lives there. Things have been rough ever since I joined the church and she has never met Jake! So we are finally after 4 years going to visit! we are so excited!!! we leave Monday morning!!
